Job Summary The Chief Patient Experience Officer supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality by driving a culture of patient and family-centered high quality care across the health system. Advances concepts of performance excellence and patient experience, creating an enterprise culture and standard of care that builds upon the system's excellent clinical outcomes, improves patient satisfaction, increases employee engagement and retention through collaboration with leaders, providers, nurses, ancillary and support staff. Provides visionary operational leadership as a collaborative member of the senior leadership team to meet and exceed strategic organizational goals. Job Qualifications Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field Ten years of management experience in area of responsibility or hospital systems Strong understanding of all aspects of healthcare finance including ability to develop and evaluate pro-formas Expertise in strategic planning and operations management Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of delivering services to a diverse patient population including: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric levels Proven track record of achieving measurable, high-quality results regarding patient satisfaction Knowledgeable of current national healthcare policies and trends in the political environment Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Excellent leadership and management skills with a strong understanding of talent management concepts and their application High level of self-control, professionalism and respect for individuals in all circumstances Ability, under stress, to assess, understand and make appropriate decisions on complicated issues Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred *Must pass pre-employment screening Company Overview Yavapai Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare provider that offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
