Job Number: 192758 Department: Nuclear Medicine Isotope Hours: 32 in Bellevue and 48 in Seattle This Bone Density Technician position performs, monitors and prepares the results of bone density examinations. This position also interviews the patient, records appropriate medical history, coordinates data for any osteoporosis study protocols, assists with patient scheduling, and instructs nuclear medicine technologist students. Also required, the ability to assist patients on and off the scan table, ability to multi task and work independently and comfort with computer systems. Within 6 months of hire Hologic Bone Density Scanning certification and AIDS training certification will be required. If operating a mobile unit, a current Washington State Driver's License is requires and also must participate in random drug testing.
