National Account Executive Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and talented National Account Executive to join the growing team in their downtown Chicago office. The primary purpose of the position is to implement our client's solutions-driven approach to logistics to develop, manage, and grow a book of business. The ideal candidate understands the key to success requires persistence, being proactive and a strong desire to not only meet, but exceed their goals. Responsibilities: Grow a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and extensive phone outreach. Develop logistical solutions to meet clients' supply chain needs. Make sales presentations to prospective and existing customers at all levels. Evaluate shipments and select the most cost-effective method of delivery. Continually analyze accounts to determine efficiency and profitability. Coordinate efforts and communication with carrier sales department. Extensive contract and pricing negotiation. Experience: College degree preferred. Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and other operational systems. Additional languages are an asset. Passionate and motivated with a responsible work attitude. Team player who is in it for the greater good of the organization. Solid decision-making skills and ability to prioritize ever-changing daily tasks. Natural on the phone with the ability to make 40 plus sales call per day. This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
