ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adheres and enforces FDCPA/Federal/State/City law provisions, as defined in our training and company policies Meet or exceed monthly individual and departmental budgets Documents all collections activity in a concise and accurate format Analyze and document for quality assurance Assist with fielding staff questions Contacts debtors in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner Sets and reviews individual and group goals with the Collection Services Manager Communicates any problem issues to the manager on an ongoing basis Collaborates with manager to schedule the team to ensure proper telephone coverage and approves requests for time off and any schedule changes Conducts frequent telephone monitoring and dialer coaching sessions Completes month end measurements and implements appropriate action plans on unsatisfactory items Conducts routine account audits Communicates performance measurements to team Provides a positive work atmosphere for the team and the department. Consistently achieve assigned team and department goals Review and reply to client audits, taking any necessary action for the department or making overall recommendations Follow all client and company policies and procedures Meet all required deadlines Communicate effectively with all areas of the company Complete all duties and tasks as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 6 mos. or more prior collection experience Knowledge of FDCPA and Federal and State Law requirements Supervisory experience Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to remain calm in emotionally tense situations Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor in the work place Available to work flexible hours Must be reliable and dependable Show consistent professionalism and good judgment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 or more years prior collection experience Associates degree in Business or related field Supervisory experience within a collections environment preferred Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
