A well-established, local kitchen & bath remodeling business in Fox Valley is seeking a full-time experienced, Showroom Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join their team. Kitchen & Bath Design Store is conveniently located on Main Street, St Charles. Since 1988, our clients consistently rank us as excellent; and rave about our professionalism and design innovation. Our ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, good communication, organizational and analytical skills who can work as part of a team in an exciting and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities include:

  1. Welcome prospective clientele to our Showroom in a warm friendly manner
  2. Provide clients with an Excellent experience while in the showroom
  3. Maintain showroom's cleanliness
  4. Process cash and credit card sales for small product orders
  5. Maintain client job and product binders
  6. Assist salespeople in working with clients to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling or updating the kitchen or bath of their home
  7. Receive all incoming deliveries, double check items at time of delivery
  8. Keep showroom updated with all sales materials needed


  1. Exhibit exceptional customer service skills every day, over the phone and in person
  2. Experience working in a professional services environment
  3. A professional with excellent phone etiquette
  4. Strong organizational skills, with great attention to detail
  5. Trustworthy and a willingness to accept responsibility and to learn more tasks if necessary
  6. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
  7. Willing to gain a comprehensive knowledge of products relating to kitchen and bath design trends
  8. Willing to gain knowledge and experience working with design & accounting software
  9. Understand and comply with all company policies
  10. Maintain excellent company image and demonstrate integrity
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  12. Pleasant demeanor & professional appearance

Benefits Include

  1. Compensation commensurate with experience
  2. Salary between $25,000 to $30,000 per year (salary plus commission)
