The CPSO builds and maintains strong relationships with hospital personnel to effectively facilitate the Patient Safety Program. Maintains knowledge of regulatory and other external agency requirements and recommendations related to the ongoing Patient Safety functions. Partners with facility leadership to promote a Just Culture environment and assist the Director of Quality Management in clinical, administrative and strategic oversight of facility processes for the provision of care, treatment and services. Supports implementation of best practices through data, metrics, observation/rounding, employee education and engagement.
